France proxies
French e-commerce has strong local players next to Amazon.fr, and French search and ads are served for French users. A French address lets you see those as a local shopper does.

Why people want an IP in France
Cdiscount, Fnac, Darty and Leboncoin are household names in France, and each serves prices, promotions and delivery for French addresses. France also has fixed national sales periods (les soldes), when prices across these sites move at the same time and monitoring matters most.
Google.fr results and French-language ads are tailored to France. French-speaking Belgium, Switzerland and Canada get different results for the same query, so a French address is the way to see the page for France specifically.

Which lines
Lines that can target France
For marketplaces and classifieds that watch for automated traffic, ISP IPs are the steadier option. Datacenter IPs are fine for Google.fr checks at a sensible pace and for bulk fetching of product pages.

The order form in the dashboard lists the countries in stock right now, so you know before you pay.
Residential has no country choice. It rotates across the whole pool, so use it where the exit country does not matter.
Practical tips
- Send fr-FR as the language. With a bare fr, some sites guess a different French-speaking country.
- Plan larger monitoring runs around the soldes, when prices change most, and order your IPs a little ahead so you are not waiting on stock that week.
- French pages write prices with a comma for decimals, a space between thousands and the euro sign after the number. Parse for that format.
Questions about France
Does a French IP show the same results as Belgium or Switzerland?
No. Google and most retailers treat each French-speaking country separately, with different rankings, prices and ads. Pick France at checkout for the view from France.
When is price monitoring in France most useful?
Around the national winter and summer sales, when many retailers cut prices at once, and around big shopping weekends. Those are the weeks when a French address and a steady schedule of checks pay off.
