A datacenter IP in the country you care about is the cheapest way to see what visitors there get. You choose country, region and city, it stays fixed for the term, and it works in a normal browser or a headless one.

Seeing your site from another country
You launch a translated storefront or a regional landing page, and from your own desk you only ever see the version for where you live.
What gets in the way
Geo redirects, local currency, translated pages, shipping rules and consent banners all switch on the visitor’s location. Each is easy to get wrong and hard to see from home, because your browser keeps getting the version for your own country.
Asking a friend abroad for screenshots works once. It does not scale to every release, and it cannot be written into a checklist that runs the same way each time.
Which line fits
ISP proxies
Some sites and CDNs treat data centre addresses as bots and show them a challenge or a generic page. If that hides what you want to check, an ISP IP in the same place looks like an ordinary home visitor.
Residential has no country selection, because the pool picks the exit IP. When a job depends on location, the ISP and datacenter lines let you choose country, region and city.
How to start
- Order an IP in each market
Match the list to the countries you have localised for.
- Set it in a separate browser profile
Add the host, port, username and password from the service page in the dashboard to a profile of its own, so your everyday browsing stays untouched.
- Make it part of each release
Before a translation or a regional price goes live, load the key pages through each IP and check the redirect, language, currency and banner.

Using it responsibly
Checking how your site appears in another country is on our acceptable-use list, and so is reaching geo-blocked content for your own use. Getting around a region lock to copy and republish someone’s paid content is banned.
Questions
Can I pick a city, or only a country?
ISP and datacenter IPs can be chosen by country, region and city. Residential cannot, since its pool picks the exit.
Does it work in my browser?
Yes. The IPs support HTTP and HTTPS, and the dashboard can switch them to SOCKS5 where the proxy offers it. Every major browser can use them, directly or through a profile manager or extension.
Why does my site still show my home currency?
Usually a cookie or a saved account preference from an earlier visit is overriding the location. Test in a fresh profile or a private window with the proxy set.
