Residential proxy pricing
Residential proxies cost $5.50/GB on the smallest order and $1.75/GB once a single order reaches 1000 GB.
Residential is billed by the gigabyte of traffic your requests bring back. Every request is logged with its own byte count, so the number on the bill is one you can rebuild yourself.

Residential or Datacenter?
Residential and datacenter are the two most people weigh up first. One is metered by traffic, the other rented by the IP, so the cheaper choice depends on how much data your job moves.
| What differs | Residential | Datacenter |
|---|---|---|
| Billed by | Traffic, per GB | IP, per month |
| Smallest order | $5.50/GB | $1.90/IP a month |
| Lowest pay-as-you-go rate | $1.75/GB from 1000 GB | $0.89/IP a month from 500 IPs |
| Location targeting | None | Country, region and city |
| Choice of ISP | No | No |
| Terms | No term to pick | 30, 60, 90 and 365 days |
Choose Residential when
- The site blocks server IPs and answers with captchas or empty pages
- You want a fresh home IP for each request or short session
- Your job moves little data, so a per-GB price stays small
Choose Datacenter when
- The site loads fine from a server and you only need a different address
- You move a lot of data and a flat monthly price per IP works out cheaper
- You want the same IP every time, in a country, region or city you pick

Questions
Residential pricing questions
What counts toward my residential bill?
Response bytes plus response headers, measured at our proxy. The bytes you send are not billed. A connection failure, such as a timeout, a reset or an error from our own gateway, is billed at zero and still appears on your log. A block page, a captcha or a 429 from the target is a response like any other and counts as traffic.
Can I choose the country of a residential IP?
No. Residential has no country, region or city targeting, and the pool picks the exit IP. If you need a fixed location, ISP and datacenter IPs both let you choose country, region and city.
What does renewing cost?
A renewal is charged at the entry rate, $5.50/GB, whatever rung the original order reached. A new order is priced by its own size, so a larger fresh order can cost less per GB than a renewal.
Does residential traffic I have bought expire?
No. Traffic you have bought stays on your account until you use it, and the balance you pay from never expires either.
Is there a free trial?
No, and we would rather say so up front. The smallest order is 1 GB, at $5.50/GB, so a first test stays small.
