Comparison
ProxyPanda vs Webshare
For residential traffic you do not have to use up this month, we are the cheaper of the two. Webshare sells residential as monthly plans that reset each billing cycle; we sell it pay as you go, and what you buy never expires. If you use a whole plan every month, Webshare costs less per GB, and the table below shows it.
Names and logos belong to their owners. No affiliation or endorsement is implied.
Your usage comes in bursts and a monthly allowance would reset before you used it. You want residential traffic that waits on your account until you need it, or you want to pay in crypto.
Your usage is steady and you use your whole allowance every month. Then their monthly residential plans cost less per GB than our pay-as-you-go rates, and a monthly datacenter plan may beat ours too. Do the arithmetic, and if their plan wins, take it.

What each of us publishes
This table compares what each company publishes. Where a cell says “not published”, we have not guessed at how somebody else runs their meter.
| Commitment | ProxyPanda | Webshare |
|---|---|---|
| Usage meter | Per-request log, exportable as CSV | Per-request activity log, exportable as CSV |
| What counts as traffic | Response bytes only, headers included in the count | Downloaded plus uploaded bytes |
| Failed requests | Timeouts, resets and our own gateway errors not billed; pages the site sends back are traffic | Not published |
| Unused allowance | Balance rolls forever | Resets each billing cycle, no rollover |
| Refunds | Unused balance back for 30 days, only to the card or wallet that paid, no questions | Within 48 hours, if under 0.1 GB of rotating residential is used |
| Crypto accepted | Yes, through CoinGate, no card required | No: cards, Google Pay and Apple Pay |
| Support | Public Discord, plus email | Email, listed as 24/7 |
Credit where it is due
What Webshare is good at
A self-serve provider best known for very cheap datacenter proxies and a free tier, sold mostly as monthly plans with an IP and bandwidth allowance.
- A free tier, which is a good way to learn
- Lower residential rates per GB than ours, for a plan you use in full every month
- Very cheap datacenter proxies if a monthly allowance fits your usage
- Clean self-serve dashboard, no sales calls
- Instant setup, same as us
For 30 days after a top-up, unused balance goes back the way you paid, so testing both is cheap.
Used both? Say so.
There is a channel for this. Comparisons from people paying for both beat any table we could write, including when they do not flatter us.
