Methods

Crypto or card

Every method adds to the same balance, and every product is paid from it.

Bitcoin · via CoinGateEthereum · via CoinGateUSDT / USDC · via CoinGateLitecoin · via CoinGateVisa / Mastercard · cards welcome too

Crypto payments are processed by CoinGate. Card payments are handled by our card payment processor, so we never see or store your card number.

Topping up

From signup to a working proxy

  1. Open an account

An email address and a password. Nothing else is asked for.

  2. Add to your balance

The smallest top-up is $5. Prices and balances are in USD.

  3. Order what you need

Pick a product in the dashboard. Its cost comes off your balance, and the service page shows the details you connect with.

Spending

How the balance is spent

Each product has its own meter. Whatever you do not spend stays on the balance for next time.

ProductBilled byHow it is counted
ResidentialTraffic, per gigabyteMetered request by request: response body plus response headers. Request bytes are not billed, and connection failures (timeouts, resets, errors from our own gateway) are billed at zero.
ISPIP, per termYou rent each IP for a term you choose when you order. Terms offered: 30 days, 90 days, 365 days.
DatacenterIP, per termYou rent each IP for a term you choose when you order. Terms offered: 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 365 days.

Every request on a traffic-billed product is logged with its own byte count, and you can export the log as CSV. How that works, and what happens if your count differs from ours, is on the honesty page.

Refunds

Getting money back

Ask within 30 days of a top-up and we refund the unused portion of it to where the money came from: the card that paid, or the wallet a crypto payment was sent from. No reason is required.

  • Unused balance: refundable within the window after the top-up that created it, back to the card or wallet that paid for it. Where it came from several top-ups, the most recent are refunded first, each to where it came from.
  • An ISP or datacenter IP rental we end early: if we end it before its term is up for reasons of our own, the part of the term not yet used is refunded pro rata, to where the money came from.
  • Traffic you used: not refundable, because it was delivered, with the exceptions below.
  • Traffic burned during an outage: credited back to your account as a service credit without you asking, once we know who was affected.
  • Traffic spent on a mislabelled IP: credited back to your account as a service credit.
  • Traffic spent while our metering was wrong: credited back to your account as a service credit, and the session is re-billed at your figure.

Crypto refunds

Returned in the same coin to the wallet the payment was sent from: the share of the coin we received that matches the unused dollar value of the top-up, whatever it is worth in dollars on the day. We may ask you to confirm that address. If you paid from an exchange, show us the exchange’s withdrawal record for that payment and it goes to a wallet you control instead. The network fee for sending it comes out of the refund.

Card refunds

Returned to the original card. Your bank usually takes a few more working days to show it. If the card has expired or been closed, or is past the point where it can take a refund, we pay it by bank transfer to an account in your own name, once we have checked your identity.

How to ask

Email [email protected] from your account address, or open a ticket in Discord. Say “refund”. If you paid in crypto, we may ask you to confirm the address of the wallet you paid from.

After the window

The balance stays yours and never expires. After 30 days it can no longer be refunded, but you can keep spending it. The window does not apply if we close your account or you leave over a change to our terms. If you are stuck with a balance you cannot use, ask anyway.

Payment questions

Before you top up

What is the smallest amount I can top up?

$5. It goes into your balance, and whatever you do not spend stays there.

Which cryptocurrencies do you accept?

Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT / USDC, Litecoin, processed by CoinGate. Cards work as well.

Is there a subscription or a monthly fee?

No. You pay as you go from a prepaid balance. There is no plan to cancel, and keeping a balance costs nothing.

Does my balance expire?

No. It stays on your account until you spend it or ask for it back.

What currency are prices in?

USD. Your balance is kept in the same currency.

Where does a crypto refund go?

Back to the wallet the payment was sent from, in the coin you paid with, at the coin amount we received for the unused part. The network fee for sending it comes out of the refund. If you paid from an exchange, it goes to a wallet you control instead once you show us the exchange’s withdrawal record for that payment. It cannot go to any other wallet or coin, or onto your balance.

How long do I have to ask for a refund?

30 days from the top-up, for the unused part of it to go back to the card or wallet that paid. After that the balance still never expires; it just stops being refundable. If we close your account, or you leave over a change to our terms, there is no window.
