What gets in the way

Most sites watch how many requests arrive from one address. A scraper on your own connection looks like one very busy visitor, so it gets slowed down, shown a captcha or served a blank page, often with no error code to tell you why.

Cheap providers can make this worse. Some sell server addresses labelled as residential, and the job fails on exactly the sites you paid extra to reach. Our IP labels are written down on the honesty page so you know what you are buying.

Which line fits

Recommended

Residential proxies

Residential exits come from home connections and rotate per request by default, so each page can arrive from a different address. Shops, marketplaces and travel sites that turn away server traffic usually accept it. You pay for the traffic the meter records, and every request shows on a usage log you can check.

Also works

Datacenter proxies

If the site does not block server ranges, as with documentation, forums and many public APIs, a datacenter IP is faster and costs less per job. Try a few pages through one first. If they come back clean, you do not need residential.

How to start

  1. Start with a small top-up

Add the minimum balance and buy a little residential traffic. A short test tells you more than a pricing table does.

  2. Copy your connection details

The service page in the dashboard shows the host, port, username and password. Put them in your scraper’s proxy settings.

  3. Check the usage log

Run a short batch and compare the log with your own count. Timeouts, resets and errors from our own gateway are billed at zero and marked free.

There is no shared gateway address to copy from this site. Each service shows its own host, port, username and password on its page in the dashboard.

Using it responsibly

Scraping publicly accessible data is on our acceptable-use list. Logging in with other people’s credentials, building a profile of a private person, or republishing someone’s paid content is banned. Keep your request rate at a level the site can handle: hammering a small site until it falls over is rude and, in some places, a crime.

Questions

Will I still hit captchas?

Sometimes. No proxy removes every block. Rotating residential exits lower the chance that one address gets flagged, and a slower, steadier request pace helps as much as the proxy does. If a site challenges every request, ask in Discord before you spend more.

How is scraping traffic counted?

We bill response bytes and response headers, measured at our proxy. The bytes you send are not billed. Each request appears on your usage log with its host, status and size, so you can check the total against your own numbers.

Do I have to follow robots.txt?

We do not police robots.txt for you, and we do not read your traffic. You are responsible for the law where you are and where the site is, and for the site’s own terms, so read them before a large job.

Can I choose which country the residential exit is in?

No. Residential has no country selection and the pool picks the exit. If the country matters for your job, ISP and datacenter IPs can be chosen by country, region and city.
