Germany proxies
German shops are strict about how prices, discounts and delivery costs are shown, and many serve a different page to visitors outside Germany. A German address lets you check the page German shoppers get.
Germany
Why people want an IP in Germany
German consumer law sets out how a price, a strike-through discount or a shipping estimate must appear, and German stores are built around those rules. A visit from abroad may get an international version with other prices, or a notice that the shop does not ship to you.
Price comparison sites such as idealo are widely used in Germany, so monitoring prices across Amazon.de and Otto is a common job. Google.de results and German-language ads are also served by location, which matters for anyone checking rankings in German.

Which lines
Lines that can target Germany
If the target is a large German marketplace that screens traffic, ISP IPs are the safer choice. Datacenter IPs work well for comparison sites and bulk fetches where the site is less picky about the network.

Static IPs issued by a consumer ISP. Datacentre speed, home-network reputation.

Datacenter
Fast, cheap server IPs, rented by the IP for a fixed term.

The order form in the dashboard lists the countries in stock right now, so you know before you pay.
Residential has no country choice. It rotates across the whole pool, so use it where the exit country does not matter.
Practical tips
- Send de-DE as the language and teach your parser German number formats: a comma marks the decimals and a dot groups the thousands.
- Expect a consent banner on the first visit. Handle it once per session so it does not end up in your scraped content.
- German shops show prices with VAT included and often list shipping separately. Capture both if you are comparing totals.
Questions about Germany
Do German sites block foreign visitors?
Some do, and others show an international version with different prices or no delivery to your country. A German address avoids both, which is why it is the usual choice for checking German shops.
Can I use a German IP for other EU countries?
You can visit any site with it, but a site that tailors its page by country will show you the German version. For France or the Netherlands, pick those countries at checkout instead.
