Setup guide
Antidetect browser proxy setup, any tool
Antidetect browsers differ in layout, but the proxy form in a profile asks for the same five things. This guide covers them in general terms, so it applies whichever tool you use.
Before you start
- An antidetect browser with a profile you can edit.
- HOST, PORT, USERNAME and PASSWORD from your service page.
- A decision on which profile gets which IP. Giving each account its own address is the safe default.
Your connection details
Sign in to the dashboard and open the service you bought. Its page shows the host, port, username and password for that service. There is no single ProxyPanda address to remember, so copy them from there each time. The code in these guides uses the placeholders below; replace each one with your own value.
- HOST
- The proxy address for this service, exactly as the service page shows it.
- PORT
- The port to connect to. Copy it with the host, since it can differ from one service to the next.
- USERNAME
- Your proxy login. It is separate from the email you use for the dashboard.
- PASSWORD
- Copy it in full. On residential, the options you choose in the dashboard are added to the end of the password, so a password typed from memory loses them.
You can skip the username and password by adding the IP address you connect from to the service’s allowlist. Then only HOST and PORT go into your code.
The examples use HTTP, which reaches https sites through an encrypted tunnel. SOCKS5 works too: residential ports accept both, and ISP and datacenter proxies switch protocol in the dashboard.
Steps
Choose HTTP as the proxy type
HTTP matches the host and port on your service page and still reaches https sites through a tunnel. SOCKS5 works too: residential ports answer both, and ISP and datacenter proxies switch in the dashboard.
Fill in host, port, username and password
Copy each value from the dashboard into its own field, with no spaces around it.
profile proxy Type: HTTP Host: HOST Port: PORT Username: USERNAME Password: PASSWORDOr paste one line
Some tools take the whole proxy as a single pasted line. The residential page in the dashboard can export a list in HOST:PORT:USER:PASS order.
one line HOST:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORDCheck the connection from inside the profile
If the profile has a check button, use it. Then open the profile and visit https://api.ipify.org. The address shown there is what every site will see from this profile.
Match time zone and language to the IP
A browser that reports a Berlin IP with a Tokyo clock stands out to fraud checks. Set the profile’s time zone, language and location to fit the country of the exit IP. If your tool offers to fill these in from the proxy, let it.
Rotating and sticky IPs
A profile is meant to look like one person on one connection, so it should keep its address. On residential, choose Sticky IP, which holds one address for as long as the network can.
For accounts you return to over weeks, an ISP IP stays the same for the whole term and is registered to a consumer network, which is the closest match to a home connection. Keep one IP per account.
Common errors and fixes
A small window pops up asking for a username and password
The proxy answered 407 and the browser is asking you to log in. The credentials saved in the profile are wrong or cut short; copy the password again in full.
The check fails straight away
Look for a stray space at either end of a pasted value, and make sure the type is HTTP. Then compare HOST and PORT with the service page.
The check passes but sites never finish loading
Open api.ipify.org inside the profile. If that loads and the site does not, the site is slow or refusing this address. If nothing loads, bring the IP and the time it happened to Discord.
A CAPTCHA on every visit
The site does not trust the address or the profile. Datacenter IPs trigger this most often. Check that time zone and language match the IP, and consider residential or ISP for that site.
Which line to pick
For accounts that should look like a home user over a long stretch, ISP is the usual fit. Residential with Sticky IP suits shorter tasks where a different address next time is fine. Datacenter works for tools and dashboards that do not care where you connect from.
Running several accounts is not a problem in itself. Using profiles for credential stuffing, fraud or spam is, and it ends the account. Where we draw the line
