Setup guide
BitBrowser (比特浏览器) proxy setup
BitBrowser, sold in China as 比特浏览器, isolates each browser profile with its own fingerprint and proxy. The steps use the labels from BitBrowser’s English help pages. The code boxes also show the Chinese label for each field, since many guides and screenshots for this tool are in Chinese.
Before you start
- BitBrowser installed and signed in, in English or Chinese.
- The four values from your service page: HOST, PORT, USERNAME and PASSWORD.
- A plan for which profile carries which account and IP. One IP per profile avoids most trouble.
Your connection details
Sign in to the dashboard and open the service you bought. Its page shows the host, port, username and password for that service. There is no single ProxyPanda address to remember, so copy them from there each time. The code in these guides uses the placeholders below; replace each one with your own value.
- HOST
- The proxy address for this service, exactly as the service page shows it.
- PORT
- The port to connect to. Copy it with the host, since it can differ from one service to the next.
- USERNAME
- Your proxy login. It is separate from the email you use for the dashboard.
- PASSWORD
- Copy it in full. On residential, the options you choose in the dashboard are added to the end of the password, so a password typed from memory loses them.
You can skip the username and password by adding the IP address you connect from to the service’s allowlist. Then only HOST and PORT go into your code.
The examples use HTTP, which reaches https sites through an encrypted tunnel. SOCKS5 works too: residential ports accept both, and ISP and datacenter proxies switch protocol in the dashboard.
Steps
Go to Browsers and click Add
In the left menu, open Browsers and click Add, which the Chinese client calls 创建窗口. Give the profile a name and a group. Platform is required; if the site you need is not listed, choose Others and type its address.
Pick Custom Proxy and type http
Scroll to the proxy settings. Set the proxy method to Custom Proxy and the proxy type to http, then fill in Host, Port, Username and Password. Leave Direct Mode alone: it sends the profile out over your own connection.
Password: PASSWORDClick Check Proxy
The check connects through the proxy and shows the IP it found, with details such as time zone. If it fails, hold off on saving; the errors below cover the usual causes. The IP look up service beside it can stay on its default, or switch to IP123 when you want a second opinion on location.
Let time zone, location and language follow the IP
In the fingerprint settings, time zone, geolocation and language can each be generated from the IP, so they follow the proxy’s country. A profile with a French address, a Chinese browser language and a Beijing clock is the kind of mismatch sites notice. Click Confirm to save the profile.
Open the profile and visit api.ipify.org
Click Open on the profile and load https://api.ipify.org in the new window. The address should match what Check Proxy showed; it is the exit IP sites record for this profile.
Many profiles: import them from the template
Beside Add, open Batch Import and download the Template file. Put http in the proxy type column and the proxy info as Host:Port:Username:Password, the same order the residential page in the dashboard exports. Save the sheet and import it.

Rotating and sticky IPs
Each BitBrowser profile stands in for one separate device, so its exit address should not wander. For a shop or account you sign in to for months, use an ISP IP: fixed for the rental term and registered to a home broadband provider. One IP per profile.
Residential defaults to Randomize IP, a new address per request, which is right for public-data scraping and wrong for anything with a login. For a short job inside one profile, switch to Sticky IP in the dashboard first, then copy the password; the session option rides at its end.
In a bulk import, do not repeat an IP across rows. Profiles that share an address look like one person to the sites they visit.
The dashboard also offers an IP allowlist, after which host and port alone connect. BitBrowser accepts a username and password, and that login keeps working when your own address changes, so most people have no need for it.
Common errors and fixes
Check Proxy fails
BitBrowser’s help treats a failed check as a problem with the proxy details or the proxy itself. Confirm Custom Proxy and http, then compare all four values with the service page, watching for spaces picked up while copying. If it still fails, bring the IP and the time to Discord.
The check passes but pages will not load in the profile
BitBrowser’s documentation points to the local network in this case: a connection that struggles to reach addresses abroad can pass the check and still fail on real pages. Try another network, and if the same happens there, ask in Discord.
The country differs from what other sites show
IP location databases disagree on a small share of addresses, which BitBrowser’s own help notes. If the IP is right, the label matters little, and you can switch the IP look up service to compare. Residential has no country choice, so use ISP or datacenter where a profile needs a fixed country.
Imported profiles come in without a proxy
The template row is usually malformed. Check that the proxy type column says http and that the proxy info uses plain colons between its four parts. A Chinese input method can slip in a full-width colon (:), which the template does not expect.
Which line to pick
For cross-border shops and accounts you keep signed in, give each BitBrowser profile its own ISP IP. Residential with Sticky IP handles shorter tasks where the next session may come from elsewhere. Datacenter costs least for admin panels and tools that do not check where traffic comes from.
Running several accounts side by side in BitBrowser is fine. Using profiles for fraud, spam, or testing leaked passwords against sites is not, and gets the account closed. Where we draw the line
