GoLogin proxy setup with your own proxy
GoLogin runs each profile in its own Orbita browser with a separate fingerprint. It sells proxies of its own too, but any third-party proxy can be attached to a profile, and it does not use up GoLogin’s included traffic. The labels here follow GoLogin’s current documentation, where proxies are added from the Location column on the All profiles page.
Before you start
- GoLogin installed and signed in, with at least one profile.
- HOST, PORT, USERNAME and PASSWORD from the dashboard, or a list exported one proxy per line.
- A separate IP for each profile. GoLogin’s own FAQ advises against sharing one proxy between profiles.
Your connection details
Sign in to the dashboard and open the service you bought. Its page shows the host, port, username and password for that service. There is no single ProxyPanda address to remember, so copy them from there each time. The code in these guides uses the placeholders below; replace each one with your own value.
- HOST
- The proxy address for this service, exactly as the service page shows it.
- PORT
- The port to connect to. Copy it with the host, since it can differ from one service to the next.
- USERNAME
- Your proxy login. It is separate from the email you use for the dashboard.
- PASSWORD
- Copy it in full. On residential, the options you choose in the dashboard are added to the end of the password, so a password typed from memory loses them.
You can skip the username and password by adding the IP address you connect from to the service’s allowlist. Then only HOST and PORT go into your code.
The examples use HTTP, which reaches https sites through an encrypted tunnel. SOCKS5 works too: residential ports accept both, and ISP and datacenter proxies switch protocol in the dashboard.
Steps
Open the proxy window from the Location column
On the All profiles page, find the Location column and click the + on the profile you want to connect. From inside a profile, the same form sits under the three dots menu: Settings, then Proxy, then Your proxy.
Enter the proxy by hand
Click the computer icon and put HOST in the IP field, then the port, username and password. Click Connect. GoLogin picks HTTP or SOCKS on its own from what the proxy answers, and the choice can be changed afterwards; either works on residential, and on ISP or datacenter it must match the protocol set in the dashboard.
Location › + › computer icon IP: HOST Port: PORT Username: USERNAME Password: PASSWORDOr paste proxies in bulk
GoLogin accepts HOST:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD, one proxy per line, which is the order the residential page in the dashboard exports. Copy several lines and paste them into the Location column with your paste shortcut or the Paste proxies button, then move them between profiles as needed.
All profiles › Paste proxies HOST:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORDRead the check indicator
GoLogin tests a proxy as soon as it is added: a green indicator means it connected, a red one means it did not. Hover over the red mark to read the error and match it against the list below. The circular arrows icon beside the flag rechecks the proxy and shows its IP and city.
Launch and visit api.ipify.org
Run the profile and open https://api.ipify.org in it. The address should match the IP GoLogin reported. If your home IP appears, a VPN or proxy extension inside the browser is getting in the way; GoLogin advises against using those in Orbita.
Keep time zone and language in line with the IP
GoLogin sets the profile’s time zone from the proxy IP, and WebRTC can stay on Based on IP so it reports the proxy address. Set the browser languages to fit the proxy’s country as well, then leave those settings steady once the account exists.
Rotating and sticky IPs
A GoLogin profile should look like one person who keeps coming back from the same place. ISP IPs stay put for the rental term and sit on consumer networks, which makes them the fit for accounts you open daily.
For residential, set Sticky IP in the dashboard before copying the password, because the session choice is stored at the end of it. Randomize IP gives each request a new address, and a login flow split across addresses tends to fail.
GoLogin warns that proxies locked to an allowlist can fail its check, since the check may not come from your address. The dashboard does offer an allowlist, but inside GoLogin keep the username and password.
Common errors and fixes
“Proxy error. Response code 407 (Proxy Authentication Required)”
The username or password did not match. Paste both again from the service page in full. On residential, a password typed by hand loses the session options appended to it.
“Proxy connection timed out” or “Check timeout exceeded”
GoLogin got no answer. Compare HOST and PORT with the service page first. If they are right, try another network or a phone hotspot, which tells a local block apart from a proxy fault.
“EACCESS” followed by an IP and port
Something on your computer refused the connection, usually a firewall or antivirus. Allow GoLogin through it and run the check again.
GoLogin and a website disagree on the location
Location databases are not in sync, so one IP can map to two countries. Go by the IP from api.ipify.org. Residential cannot be pinned to a country, so pick ISP or datacenter with country targeting if the profile depends on one.
Which line to pick
For profiles you open day after day, an ISP IP each is the steadiest choice. Residential with Sticky IP suits one-off sessions where a fresh address next time is fine. Datacenter keeps costs low for tools and panels that accept server addresses.
Managing several accounts through GoLogin profiles is allowed. Fraud, spam and logging in with stolen credentials are not, and any of them ends the account. Where we draw the line
