Before you start

  • Dolphin Anty installed and signed in. Browser Profiles is the first screen it opens.
  • HOST, PORT, USERNAME and PASSWORD from the service page in the dashboard.
  • A short list pairing each account with the profile and the IP it will use.

Your connection details

Sign in to the dashboard and open the service you bought. Its page shows the host, port, username and password for that service. There is no single ProxyPanda address to remember, so copy them from there each time. The code in these guides uses the placeholders below; replace each one with your own value.

HOST
The proxy address for this service, exactly as the service page shows it.
PORT
The port to connect to. Copy it with the host, since it can differ from one service to the next.
USERNAME
Your proxy login. It is separate from the email you use for the dashboard.
PASSWORD
Copy it in full. On residential, the options you choose in the dashboard are added to the end of the password, so a password typed from memory loses them.

You can skip the username and password by adding the IP address you connect from to the service’s allowlist. Then only HOST and PORT go into your code.

The examples use HTTP, which reaches https sites through an encrypted tunnel. SOCKS5 works too: residential ports accept both, and ISP and datacenter proxies switch protocol in the dashboard.

Steps

  1. Click Create profile

The button is in the top right corner of Browser Profiles. A new profile receives a unique fingerprint on creation, so there is nothing to generate. Type a name. The profile type (FB, Google, TikTok, Crypto) only helps you sort, and Not specified is fine for general use.

  2. Pick New Proxy and paste one line

In the proxy part of the form, choose New Proxy. Dolphin reads host:port:login:password, login:password@host:port or bare host:port, and a scheme such as http:// in front sets the type. Writing http:// before the login form makes HTTP explicit. The residential page in the dashboard can export lines in HOST:PORT:USER:PASS order; for ISP and datacenter, build each line from the values listed for that IP. If you paste a line with no scheme, open the proxy on the Proxy screen later and confirm its type is HTTP.

    Create profile › New Proxy
    With the type: http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT
    Export order: HOST:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD
  3. Test it with the arrows on the right

Two arrows sit at the right edge of the proxy line. Clicking them checks the connection and reports the geolocation and time zone Dolphin found for that IP. Leave the Link to change IP box underneath empty. It exists for proxies sold with a rotation link, whereas residential sessions here are chosen in the dashboard.

  4. Keep Timezone, Language and Geolocation on Auto

Auto is the default for all three, and it takes each value from the proxy. Dolphin points out that sites read this Language setting and never see the language menu inside Chrome, so Auto is what makes the profile speak the proxy country’s language. For WebRTC, Altered puts the proxy’s address in place of yours; Real would bypass the proxy and leak your own.

  5. Create, Start and load api.ipify.org

Click Create profile at the bottom of the form, then Start on the profile’s row. In the browser window that opens, go to https://api.ipify.org. The address it prints is what every site will record for this profile, and it should match what the arrows reported.

Rotating and sticky IPs

Picture a Dolphin profile as one person’s laptop: the address it arrives from should stay put between visits. An ISP IP holds for the whole rental term and belongs to a consumer network, so it suits an account you mean to keep. Give each ISP IP to one profile only.

Every proxy you add is saved on the Proxy screen, where Add Proxy creates more and any saved one can be picked when a profile is edited. That makes it easy to hand one IP to two profiles by accident, so glance at the Proxy column before saving.

On paid plans, Change Proxy in the bulk action bar can assign proxies at Random. Random assignment breaks the pairing of one account with one address, so assign by hand for anything with a login.

For residential, pick Sticky IP in the dashboard first and copy the password afterwards, since the session choice is carried in it. Randomize IP moves each request to a fresh address: good for scraping public pages, bad for sign-ins. An IP allowlist is also available in the dashboard, but Dolphin takes a login without fuss, and a login survives a change of your home address.

Common errors and fixes

“Error checking connection to proxy” and a red mark next to Start

Dolphin could not reach the proxy, so the profile will not open, and on the Proxy screen the same entry shows a red Error status. Compare the line with the service page character by character: a wrong type, a space picked up while copying and a clipped password are the usual faults.

The arrows turn red on one network and green on another

Dolphin’s help names the internet provider as one cause: some connections cannot reach a given proxy server at all. Try a phone hotspot. If the proxy works there, the block is local; if it fails on every network, bring the IP and the time to Discord.

Most sites open but one keeps refusing

Dolphin’s help is clear that the browser only passes traffic through, so a single site refusing points at the address it sees. Datacenter IPs meet this most often. An ISP or residential address is the usual answer for a site that strict.

The arrows report a country you did not expect

Residential has no country choice, so the pool decides where each address sits. When a profile has to stay in one country, use an ISP or datacenter IP with country targeting and let Auto derive the time zone from it.

Which line to pick

For accounts that live in Dolphin for months, one ISP IP per profile is the steady option. Residential with Sticky IP covers short sessions where the next visit may come from elsewhere. Datacenter costs least and fits admin panels and tools that pay no attention to where traffic comes from.

Keeping separate accounts in separate Dolphin profiles is allowed. Using those profiles to try stolen logins, defraud anyone or send spam is not, and the account is closed when it happens. Where we draw the line
